About Sam

Thank you for your interest, this is who I am.

I am passionate about life. I consider myself a people person with interest in hearing individuals stories and encouraging them. I believe there is great potential for us to learn from each other. Working with, developing partnerships and being a good leader on a team is where I excel. My professional experience is vast due to no fault of my own. I’ve experienced three plant closings and two layoffs in my career. This has become a strength in my professional career exposing me to multiple facets of industry. Automotive, Aerospace, Life Safety and in the Service Industry. My current career encapsulates all of my experiences into one career. I work with and now manage a team that assists people who seek training, employment and life coaching.

My passion to guide, encourage and help people begin a successful career is what drives me. Beyond my professional career, I am very active. I am president of a nonprofit organization as a speaker and entertainer focused on encouraging and empowering people. I also sit on the board of two other nonprofits that are heavily community based.

For most of my life I’ve been a songwriter and musician. Completing two recording projects and performing across the nation at events and venues. Even as a songwriter and performer I concentrate on keeping a positive and encouraging message. As a music minister, I have lead worship at three different churches and at many regional and local meetings.

Another passion is chainsaw sculpting/carving under the business name Starving Carvist®. I’ve been a chainsaw carver since 2008. My work and story has been featured on NPR, local radio, publications and TV. I volunteer donating my carving time to multiple organizations including Disabled Vets, Shelters, National Wildlife Turkey Federation, Schools and many others. I have fortunate enough to received awards from competitions and accolades at many events for the art created. I specialize in unique memorials for individuals. I also enjoy live presentations for group meetings and promotional events.
